Together we are #NBCTstrong!
Our Mission: To advance the quality of teaching and learning through a collaborative network of NBCTs, candidates and other professionals, to connect network participants with teacher leadership opportunities, and to promote the sharing of ideas and expertise within our network through our partnerships with Hawaii Teacher Standards Board, Hawaii State Teachers Association and Kamehameha Schools.

If you’re ready to become a National Board Certified Teacher, consider joining one of HSTA’s National Board Candidate Support Cohorts. This program is designed for teachers seeking National Board Certification who want to spend time with other candidates and trained NBCT facilitators to receive focused, extended guidance through each component.
It is only available for HSTA members and Kamehameha Schools teachers, and there is no cost to participate. NBCTs in Hawaii’s public schools receive a $5,000 annual stipend for the life of the certificate.
